Specialty Summer Camp in Jersey City

Dates: June 22, 2026 – August 14, 2026 (Choose one week or select multiple weeks that interest you most.)

Grade Requirements: Grades 5–9 (upcoming school year)

Weekly Themes: Botanical Design Collective, Broadway Musical Theatre, Spark Lab (Entrepreneurship & Invention), Soccer Skills Intensive, Fundamentals of Baking. Innovators Engineering Lab, Summer Art Studio, Basketball Skills Intensive, Basics of Photography. (Choose the week that works best for you.)

The Specialty Summer Camp for Grades 5–9 in Jersey City blends creativity, challenge, and hands-on learning. Designed for students entering upper elementary, middle school, and the beginning of high school, the summer camp invites campers to explore their interests, try something new, and enjoy a summer filled with meaningful experiences and lasting memories.

Campers choose from weekly themes that excite them most, such as Botanical Design, Broadway Musical Theatre, STEM & Invention (Spark Lab), Soccer Skills, Fundamentals of Baking, Engineering, Visual Arts, Basketball, and Photography, each week offering a new chance to learn, create, and grow.

Each themed week lets you go deep, get hands-on, and build confidence in something you actually enjoy. You walk away with real skills and a portfolio of awesome memories.

Real Skills Through Real Experiences

Campers build real skills while discovering new interests, trying unfamiliar activities, and experiencing the excitement of creating something from start to finish. Whether they are designing, performing, building, or baking, every activity is rooted in real-world purpose.

Campers engage in hands-on learning that connects knowledge with real-world application. With each project, they grow more confident, discover what they’re passionate about, and return home inspired to keep learning.

Change, Cancellation & No Refund Policy

  1. There is no refund.
  2. We may allow changes of booked weeks depending on availability. If your child is already enrolled in the camp, and you would like to register for additional weeks, please email jmanthey@faacademy.org and ftomeda@faacademy.org.                                                                                                                             
  3. Full payment is due by the invoice due date specified on your invoice from the FAA Accounting Department (Non-FAA students) or your bill posted in the FACTS parent portal (FAA Parents). Failure to make your full payment by the requested due date will result in the cancellation of your child’s registration. 
  4. If your child needs to cancel due to medical reasons, we may offer up to a 50% refund if a signed doctor’s note is provided.

Pickup Policy

  1. Please, be aware of your child’s weekly registered pickup time. If they are not registered for aftercare, they need to be picked up at 3pm. 
  2. If they are registered for aftercare, they need to be picked up at their registered pickup time: 4:30pm or 6pm.
  3. Occasional aftercare must be requested by 12pm the day the service is needed.
  4. Your registered aftercare (if selected) pickup times can be found in your form submission confirmation email.
  5.  If your child is picked up later than their registered pickup time, you  will be charged based on the Occasional   aftercare pricing pickup policy: $25 per hour up until 6pm. We do not charge prorated late fees.
  6. There will be a $1 per minute charge for all children picked up past 6pm. 
  7. Before camp begins, we will ask you to specify individuals who are authorized to pick up your child from camp and aftercare. You must provide this information in order for your child to attend our camp.

The Life at the FAA Camp

Our French Summer Camp is the perfect place for children to immerse themselves in a bilingual environment while having fun with a wide range of summer activities. Campers engage in daily learning and practice their French skills in a relaxed and supportive setting. With the help of our native French-speaking teachers and bilingual staff, children of all levels have the opportunity to learn and practice French at their own pace. Each week has a different theme that aligns with daily activities, ensuring that campers never get bored and are constantly learning new French vocabulary. Along the way, they make new friends and create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
