Bilingual Education, International Citizens

JERSEY CITY, NJ - French American Academy Bilingual School

About Our Program

At the French American Academy, we offer something truly unique — the chance for your child to experience the best of two educational systems. We follow both the American curriculum, accredited by the Middle States Association, and the French curriculum, accredited by the French National Ministry of Education. From Preschool through Middle School, our students grow into critical thinkers, bilingual communicators, and culturally aware global citizens. Our teaching approach is guided by Bilingualism & Co-Teaching, a Project-Based Approach, Social & Emotional Learning, and International Education. It’s a place where students debate ideas in two languages, tackle real-world projects with creativity and logic, and build the confidence to lead with empathy.

No French is required for students entering Preschool, Kindergarten, or Middle School (starting in 6th grade).

Come visit to see how we’re preparing students to develop a passion for learning and the skills they need to become confident bilingual global citizens.

Admissions & Tuition

Dear Prospective Parents,

Thank you for looking into the admissions process at The French American Academy.

As our motto suggests, our bilingual education creates international citizens. Indeed, bilingualism offers many lifelong benefits. For instance, it builds curiosity and better cognitive skills. Above all, it provides an open mind as well as an ability to better connect with others. In a growingly complex and globalized world, parents must assess how the education they choose for their children prepares them to face the future. We are proud to be recognized as one of the best private preschools, elementary and middle schools in Jersey City, providing a bilingual education that helps our students become global citizens.

Enrolling at the French American Academy will put them on the right path to start the journey of life.

This page will provide you with helpful information regarding the enrollment process for our Jersey City preschool, elementary and middle school. We hope that our International Bilingual School will be a good match for your child and your family. We hope to see you soon. A bientôt!

✨Yesterday’s Lunar New Year celebrations!✨

Lunar New Year at FAA was more than just a celebration - it was a chance for our students to immerse themselves in traditions, learn something new, and share meaningful moments together. 🎇🏮

From crafting lanterns and writing their names in Cantonese to decorating their classrooms and dressing in red for good luck, they embraced the spirit of the holiday. One of our students, Alina, even shared her family’s traditions with her classmates, bringing traditional food and leading a special
presentation. 🇨🇳🧧

These experiences help our students see the world through different perspectives, fostering curiosity, understanding, and a sense of global community.🌏
