Originally from Wisconsin, Megan made her way to the East Coast to pursue her masters in teaching at NYU Steinhardt in 2010. After graduating, she taught in bilingual and immersion classrooms in Brooklyn for 12 years before joining the FAA in 2024. Also fluent in French, Megan is excited to continue her practice in an international environment where language learning is a core goal. In addition to language and literacy, she especially loves teaching math and hopes to foster enthusiasm and confidence for her students in this area and to shape a classroom buzzing with excitement for learning and feelings of belonging. In her free time, Megan enjoys kickboxing, spending time with her dog, and watching Premier League football.
