Originally from Burgundy, Rémi studied and later taught in several regions of France, including Franche-Comté, Alsace, and Normandy. After graduating from a drama school, Rémi earned a bachelor’s degree in Economic and Social Administration, followed by a master’s degree in Cultural Administration. This academic path led him to manage the legal and financial aspects of various theater companies and festivals. Alongside this work, he remained active as a choreographer and director for numerous performances.
A career shift eventually inspired Rémi to pursue teaching. Motivated by a desire to give young people the opportunity to explore widely and develop a critical, thoughtful perspective on the world, he prepared for and passed the competitive exam to become a literature teacher. His teaching philosophy emphasizes curiosity, enjoyment, and a broad interest in multiple subjects.
Beyond teaching, Rémi has been dedicated to the practice of Aikido, a Japanese martial art, for nearly two decades.
