Samuel is originally from Franche-Comté in eastern France. He spent many years teaching 5th grade before discovering the joys of teaching 2nd grade while in Douala, Cameroon.
He values the opportunity to help shape the citizens of tomorrow and believes that by planting seeds of knowledge, respect, and listening in the classroom, teachers can play a part in making the world a better place. For Samuel, teaching is a profession where you never get bored.
He hopes to inspire his students with a love of learning and the excitement of discovery.
Outside the classroom, Samuel is passionate about improvisational theater, enjoys tennis and team sports, hiking, and playing complex board games.
