Khalid joined the FAA in 2023 as an ESL teacher after receiving his TEFL(Teach English as a Foreign Language) certification. The son of Grenadian immigrants, Khalid was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Edison, New Jersey. Currently, he is the Extracurricular Director at FAA.

He attended William Paterson University and Manhattan School of Music and has experience teaching music, ESL, and English. In addition to teaching, Khalid has worked in the Corporate world as an Information Security Administrator, App Support Engineer, and a Governance, Risk, & Compliance Analyst.

In his spare time, Khalid loves reading, watching movies, running, attending concerts, playing the saxophone, and traveling.
