Today, our Ambassador Philippe Etienne went for the first time to New Jersey with our Consul general Anne-Claire Legendre. New Jersey share many ambitions with France, especially regarding the fight against climate change, education and trade.
They started the day at the FAA. Philippe Etienne and Anne-Claire Legendre were greeted by the school delegates. Then, they met with our Middle School students who had many questions.
They exchanged about the role of a diplomat and the importance of building bridges between two countries and two cultures, defending values throughout decisions and compromises as education, gender equality, environment…
They emphasized on the long-life advantage of learning and practicing languages, discovering other cultures and having a global point of view of the world.
