Distance learning, also often called remote learning, takes place in each classroom.
To facilitate this new teaching model, teachers have implemented tools for the families. For example, in New Milford, parents and students can find all information on one website. On their class website, students can click on the link to access live sessions. Materials needed for independent work is easily accessible. All information are available in both languages, French and English.
Older grades uses collaborative tools such as Google classroom and shared whiteboard. Younger grades effectively communicate with Klassroom app or Seesaw to share class projects. And let’s not forget art, coding, physical education, yoga and social emotional learning that also take place in our distance learning model!
